New To FCC?

If this is your first time with us, or you are fairly new, welcome! We are so glad you have decided to spend part of your day with us. We hope you feel welcome. One of our favorite ways to welcome you is by giving you a gift. So please, stop by the Guest Info Center today, we have something for you.

You may be wondering what this church is all about. Simply put, loving people and loving God. Our desire is that everyone who attends here would encounter God, grow in relationship with him and with one another, and begin to serve others (here at church, in Napa, or beyond).

We have a great time planned for your kids. Our Kids Ministry runs at both 8:45 and 10:30am services. Kids@First is our Kids Ministry. We offer activities for kids in the nursery through 5th grade. Our Nursery through Pre-K program is called Ahava Valley. Our Kindergarten through 5th Grade program is called Larger Than Life. You'll see as you enter our Kids@First Lobby that we LOVE kids!

Have middle or high schools students? Wednesday nights are just for them! Student Ministries meets from 7-8:30pm every Wednesday in room D-2.

Back to Sunday mornings, you may want to know what to expect, now that you are here. We usually sing a few songs led by our worship team. Our worship in song is contemporary, upbeat and often energetic. Communion is an important part of our weekly services. We practice open communion, which means that all followers of Jesus Christ are invited to partake regardless of church background. If you are not yet ready to participate in communion, simply pass the tray. Following worship in song and communion, we usually have a few announcements and collect tithes and offerings before the pastor gives the message. After hearing the message, we often sing one more song.

Want to know more about us? Well our building may not look ancient... but we have been around for quite a while. In fact, our church roots date back to 1857. We are a non-denominational church, part of a brotherhood of Christian churches. Are you a history buff? Pick up one of our 150th anniversary books, for a complete church history, in the Information Center.

We hope you enjoy the service today. If you have any questions, feel free to ask a staff member, or anyone from our Hospitality Team (they are wearing the orange lanyards). Our church office is open Monday-Thursday, feel free to give us a call if you have a question during the week.
