In Biblical times, the church
lived in community. They did life together.
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching
and to the fellowship,
to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” Acts 2:42
At First Christian Church,
our desire is to live in community, as well. We accomplish
this through Small Groups. A Small Group is an intentional
relational gathering on a regular basis with the common purpose
of creating an environment for spiritual growth through Jesus
Christ. It is an environment where people can connect in a
deeper level than just our brief Sunday morning encounters.
It is a place to gather together to hear the truth of God’s
word - a safe, trusting place for people to share their strengths
and weaknesses with one another and a place for people to
hold each other accountable to live out the principles to
which Christ followers are called to.
The number of people in a
Small Group will vary, but will consist of a minimum of four
people on up. The idea is for each person to be able to connect
and be involved. In a Small Group, you will grow with other
brothers and sisters in Christ, together - caring for each
other, learning together, uplifting each other and praying
for each other. Eventually, you will serve together, reaching
out to others.
First Christian Church will
see Small Groups grow as groups birth new leaders, and, in
turn, start new groups.
“FCC’s Small Group
Ministry exists to help others Encounter God, Grow with others
in community, and Serve one another, the Napa Valley, and
Beyond.”
Please fill out a Group
Involvement Form if you are interested in connecting with
others in a Small Group and return to the church office or
at church on Sunday morning in the offering bag. (insert survey

We look forward to connecting
with you!
