Prayer

We believe that nothing happens apart from prayer; prayer needs to permeate every aspect of our lives both in the home and in the Church.

We are a church that believes in the power of prayer. Each week we conclude our services by praying for anyone who is in need of ministry or desires more of God in their lives. Look for a Prayer Team member at the end of each service.

In addition to personal prayer ministry on Sunday mornings, we invite you to make your pray concerns know by filling out a Connection Card during the service or use the online prayer form located to the right.

Church-Wide Prayer & Fasting

At the beginning of year the FCC leadership invites the worshiping community into a time of personal and corporate dedication.  Believing God wants to speak to and through us in the coming season, we prepare ourselves specifically through a time of focused prayer and fasting. The only way a church can be effective is if the people of God decide, as individuals and then as a group, to follow the Lord with all their heart and fulfill the purpose that God has ordained for us.  We invite you to join us as we put “God First” at the beginning of this New Year.

Church-Wide Prayer & Fasting: January 6 – 26, 2013
Night of Prayer and Worship — January 23rd @ 7:00 pm, Worship Center

What is Fasting?

Simply stated, biblical fasting is refraining from food for a spiritual purpose. When you give God your “first” through fasting, prayer and giving at the beginning of the year, we believe you set the course for the entire year.

Fasting is the best start at surrendering all that may entangle and prevent us from getting / keeping God the first and top priority in our lives.  Whatever you decide to deny yourself during this fast, our prayer for you is that you are transformed and are able to maximize the God given potential you have been blessed with.
