Prayer

We believe that nothing happens apart from prayer; prayer needs to permeate every aspect of our lives both in the home and in the Church.

We are a church that believes in the power of prayer. Each week we conclude our services by praying for anyone who is in need of ministry or desires more of God in their lives. Look for a Prayer Team member at the end of each service.

In addition to personal prayer ministry on Sunday mornings, we invite you to make your pray concerns know by filling out a Connection Card during the service or use the online prayer form located at the bottom of this page.

Fasting

What is Fasting?

Simply stated, biblical fasting is refraining from food for a spiritual purpose. When you give God your “first” through fasting, prayer and giving at the beginning of the year, we believe you set the course for the entire year.

Fasting is the best start at surrendering all that may entangle and prevent us from getting/keeping God the first and top priority in our lives.  Whatever you decide to deny yourself during this fast, our prayer for you is that you are transformed and are able to maximize the God given potential you have been blessed with.

Fasting for the First Time?

It can sound intimidating, but humbly denying yourself of something of the flesh to glorify God will take you into a deeper prayer life and deepen your relationship with God.  It can be as simple as skipping a meal, a type of beverage, or even sweets for a period of time.  In our day and age, fasting from television or social media can be another option.  When you begin to crave that item, take time and pray, focus on scripture, seek God. For more information on the basics of fasting, check out Fasting 101.
