Pastor, Student Ministries

I grew up in a small town in the greater Sacramento area called, “Loomis.” I was fortunate to have grown up in the church along with my two older siblings (1 Sister, and 1 Brother). My parents raised me with an awareness of Christ and everything a life in Christ meant. My Dad was adamant about installing 2 things from a very young age: 1) Love God with everything you are, and 2) hate the Dodgers! I grew up a huge San Francisco Giants fan, Duke Blue Devil fan, and general sports nut.
After experiencing a difficult middle school period, where I begin to rebel from my parents and from God, the Lord shook me up in love in ways I can’t describe. By the grace of God, I was drawn back to him. Soon after that, I began to feel a call to ministry during my High School years. As a Sophmore in High school, I began volunteering with our Middle School group and knew I needed to pursue a call to ministry further. As I continued to grow and pursue this call, it became evident that God was calling me to work with students. To pursue this call further, I attended William Jessup University after High School. I graduated from WJU in May of 2009 with a Bachelor’s degree in, “Bible and Theology” and a second major in “Youth Ministry.” However, while at WJU my life would be altered in a different way as well. As a Sophmore I met a beautiful girl who would later become my wife. We dated for 2 years and then got engaged and later married on August 1st, 2009. It would take less than 2 years for life to change drastically again. On June 12th, 2011 Lindsey and I welcomed the arrival of our first daughter, Madison Louise Sneed. Lindsey and Madison are the greatest gifts God has given me!
In October of 2009, we moved to beautiful Napa, Ca to respond to God calling us to ministry at First Christian Church. We have since fallen in love with the city and the community of believers at First Christian. We quickly were able to call Napa home and feel incredibly blessed to be apart of this church and community.
