Healthy, vibrant relationships require open communication, and prayer is the language of communicating with God. He invites us to speak to him just as one would talk with a loving parent, bringing Him our joys as well as our needs.
FCC encourages all to communicate with God through prayer and as we grow to become a house of prayer. Our vision… to be a church of prayer that challenges everyone to follow Jesus.
A Place to Pray
We have developed a quiet, comfortable place designated for spiritual practices – prayer, journaling, meditation, and self-examination. The Prayer Room is open Sunday mornings from 8:00 am to 9:00 am and immediately following the service. During designated weekend hours, elders and prayer team members are available to listen and pray with individuals about special needs or circumstances.
Corporate Prayer Experience
God invites us to pray without ceasing… most often praying for each other in regular forms or at times in spontaneous form. In addition, there are times when God calls for a corporate time to gather and pray. During these times elders and various prayer leaders will call the church to gather together and seek the Lord. These corporate times are not always calendared events but are a sign of a healthy, growing community.
