Getting straight in our mind and hearts, who is Lord in our life.
Luke 12:48 says, For everyone to whom much is given, from him much will be required; and to whom much has been committed, of him they will ask the more.
We have been given much as a church but this is also true of each individual in the church. Therefore stewardship begins with each individual making the most of what they have been given. Fasting is the best start at surrendering all that entangles and prevents us from doing that. |

Whatever you decide to deny yourself during this fast, our prayer for you is that you are changed forever and learn to maximize the God given potential you have been blessed with.
The only way a church can be effective is if the people of church decide, as individuals and then as a group, follow the Lord with all their heart and fulfill the purpose that God has ordained for our church. |
